HOW TO DONATE
After clicking on the "DONATE" button above, in the new window below the St. Mark’s banner are two options:  GIVE NOW and SIGN IN
GIVE NOW:  This will allow you to make a one-time donation.  This is NOT recommended to those who give on a regular basis.
SIGN IN:   This is for anyone who has an envelope number and those who want to give regularly.  The first time you use it, you will need to REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT (located at the bottom of the page).
 
REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT
When you register for an account, you will be asked for:
  • Your name, address and email address
  • A password of your own choosing
  • Envelope number
 
This information is required so to match donations with givers, just like we do when we fill out pledge cards at the beginning of the year.  And it will allow the church to provide you with quarterly giving statements as we’ve done in the past.
 
SIGN IN
Once you’ve registered, you will need to sign in before making a donation.  Once you’ve signed in, you will see your first and last initial in a circle to the right of the banner.

 
MY DONATION
  1. Choose a fund – Choose PLEDGE PAYMENT if you are a pledger; choose GIVER OF RECORD if you have an envelope number but have not pledged; choose GENERAL DONATION if you don’t have an envelope number
  2. Amount – enter the amount you want to give
  3. I’d Like To Give By – Choose how you want to pay.  Options include:
    1. Bank draft (EFT) which requires your bank routing number and your checking account number.  THIS IS THE LOWEST COST METHOD FOR ST. MARK’S:  1% + $0.39.
    2. Credit card – You can use either a credit card or a debit card.  This is more costly to St. Mark’s:  3% + $0.39.  If you choose this method, consider adding 3% to cover our cost.
 
MAKE THIS GIFT RECURRING
Recurring giving allows you to pay your pledge automatically as often as you choose.  It completely eliminates check writing and frantic searches for envelopes and cash as the time for mass approaches.  It also helps you with your personal budget.

SUGGESTIONS - HELP FOR THE TREASURER
1)  To decrease the number of transactions that need to be recorded, consider making donations bi-weekly or monthly instead of once per week.
2)  Try to make your donations on Sundays, much like we do during Sunday Mass.  This will decrease the number of deposits into our bank account since donations made on the same day are combined into a single deposit. 
3)  If you choose to make recurring (automatic) donations, please set them up for “bi-weekly” and set your “start date” for a Sunday.

At any time, you can see your online giving by clicking on the HISTORY button (for those who have registered)
